Make Sure Your Car’s Odometer Reading is
Recorded Accurately

When you get your annual auto safety inspection, make sure the correct mileage is entered on the inspection form. And when you buy a vehicle, be sure the odometer reading is recorded properly on all paperwork.

Incorrect mileage records can cost you low mileage discounts. They can also change rates charged by the auto insurance company and can affect the vehicle’s value when you sell it.
